It
is with great sadness that Sandi, David and Anita announce that John,
beloved husband, father and friend, passed away peacefully at the Royal
Marsden Hospital, Chelsea, on Saturday 14th August 2004 after a
very brief battle against cancer.
The
Committal Service will be held at St John’s Church, Shirley Church Road,
Shirley, Croydon, Surrey, at 1 pm on Friday 3rd September, and
will be for family only.
The
service for the Thanksgiving for the Life of John will be held at St
Mary’s Parish Church, Hayes Street, Hayes, Bromley, Kent, at 2 pm, to
which everyone is warmly welcomed. Refreshments
will be provided after the service at The George, Hayes.
John
requested that flowers should not be bought, but that a donation should be
made to the ward which cared for him so well.
